What Is Viz Pattern?
Viz Pattern is a digital cut panel inspection and measurement station from GA Morgan’s Essentials line. Instead of relying on paper patterns, hardboard templates, or manual tape measurements, Viz Pattern projects the exact, real-scale digital pattern shape onto a precision inspection table allowing operators to place physical cut panels over the projection for an immediate visual comparison. Discrepancies are visible in seconds. The system serves as both a cut panel QC gate and a universal digital measurement station for cut pieces, finished garments, or any two-dimensional object — allwithout a single piece of paper.
How Viz Pattern Works
Digital Master Upload
Real-Scale Projection
Instant Visual Comparison
Rapid Defect Identification
Automated QC Report Generation
Key Features
The generous display area allows operators to inspect large pattern pieces comfortably without panning or zooming — reducing eye strain and inspection time for large garment panels.
Patterns are displayed at exact 1:1 scale — ensuring what the operator sees matches the cut panel precisely, with no distortion or scaling error that could cause a false pass or fail.
A movable digital measurement line allows operators to instantly verify any dimension on the panel — length, width, seam allowance, or grain line — without any physical measuring tool.
View up to three real-scale pattern shapes simultaneously (depending on size) — enabling rapid grading checks and compatibility verification across multiple sizes in a single inspection session.
Viz Pattern supports AAMA DXF, Standard DXF, PLT, and ISO file formats — compatible with all major CAD systems including Morgan Tecnica, Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, and third-party platforms.
Patterns are organised in a familiar tree-view file structure for fast, easy navigation — operators can locate and load any pattern in seconds, keeping inspection lines moving at production speed.
Switch between patterns with a single click — minimising changeover time when inspecting different styles or sizes in the same bundle or cut lot.
Adjust line thickness, colours, contrast, and visible elements (notches, grade points, internal lines, text) to match operator preference and fabric contrast — reducing eye strain on long inspection shifts.
Viz Pattern can integrate with GA Morgan’s INSPECTRA digital inspection systems for automated data input and comprehensive analytical reporting — creating a fully connected cut floor QC ecosystem.
